Chris was chosen by internationally acclaimed jewellery designer Shaun Leane for his first public art commission which consists of 58 bronze balconies and sculpted leaves to adorne the façade of a residential development. ‘Arbour’ at 21 Young Street in Kensington is made up of 1850 bronze leaves and three dimensional branches. The density of leaves varies on each balcony as if blowing in the breeze. Each balcony railing is unique featuring hand-formed curves with the leaves cast and fabricated into stems, then patinated and treated to give the bronze a very rich looking finish.
